Fahrettin AKKUTLU, he governor of the time supported this idea, too, and first meeting was held in governor building. Football club decided to unite at this meeting. Later Akınspor suported the idea, too, and then Bursaspor was born.Thus Anew powerful team was born from 5 clubs and Bursa was entitled to play football in Turkey football league which Bursa was deserving.
The colours of the team were green and white because of Uludag and Bursa plain.
Bursaspor has started to play football in Turkey second league since 1963-1964 season.
